Neat bit of news: David Spaltro's ...Around was just reviewed in Rogue Cinema!

Congrats to Justin Owades! His comedy, It's All Relative--a film about a revealing family get-together--was selected for the Delray Beach Film Festival. Amy stars as Lauren Feldman, sister-in-law of the lead character. The film was part of the NewFilmmakers NY Film Festival, which was shown at the Anthology Film Archives January 2008.

Keep your eyes open for Amy in Diana Quinones-Rivera's short piece, Midnight Flash, starring Phillip Botello.

Amy starred in Nicholas Collura's bittersweet short, Mother & Child. Filmed on location in Rhode Island, the film is about a "distraught single mother (Amy) who withdraws from society to an empty and abandoned beach house seemingly at the edge of the world, where her young daughter (Emma Nanamaker), growing increasingly alienated by her mother’s brooding angst, begins to receive visions of an angel." Premiered April 28, 2007 at the Whitney Humanities Center auditorium at Yale.

Award-winning writer/director Lulu Wang's independent short film, Can-Can (based on the
story by renowned author Arturo Vivante) is "a bittersweet story about marriage and infidelity, devotion and guilt." In it, Amy plays Sarah, the 'other woman'. The film is now being submitted to various film festivals across the country. Visit the Can-Can website for more details and information.

Amy plays vampy call girl, Cherie, in Minos Papas' Indie feature film, Shutterbug.


Amy is enjoying her fresh, new InStyle makeover! Amy was one of three women selected for InStyle Magazine special issues
Makeover Fall 2006 edition ("Three Degrees Of Coloration"). Thanks to InStyle Magazine (Lauren Lipton, Jordan Barnes, Gina Way, Karen Pearson), stylist Harou Noru, and celebrity colorist Rita Hazan of Rita Hazan Salon.

Amy stars opposite Jan Leyssens as Anne in Tamas Lassu's science fiction short, Lustre (part of The 48 Hour Film Project). Screened at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in Manhattan on April 27, 2006 at 7pm. Required elements for the film were: J. Splain, Window Washer
(character), photo, drawing, or painting of a pet
(prop), and "That was when I was young and naïve" (line of dialogue).

Wake Me When It's Over is a short independent film written and directed by award-winning film-maker, Lana Bernberg (Jerome Foundation Grant Recipient, 1999). It's a "lyrical and elusive story of young women's plunge into
depression as she wrestles with her identity". Unfortunately, the film has been shelved and has not been submitted to any film festivals.

Did you catch me on Law & Order (episode "Gaijin")? I played a top reporter trying to get the scoop about the murder of a prominent Japanese model visiting New York (I was in the middle on Jessie L. Martin and Will Yun Lee for an entire scene--neat!)


Amy was one of five actors on Bravo TV's Do You Have It Contest, a national talent contest based on acting ability, creativity, performance, and originality. The winner of the contest, Ingrid Sanai Buron, has become quite famous and has gone on to appear in numerous television shows and in film.


Amy has wanted to be an actress since the age of 5. She has always had the desire to create characters and present them to an audience. It was only after the tragic events of 9/11 that she decided to pursue her dream of acting.
In late 2002, Amy started her acting career, stepping on stage for the very first time. Shortly thereafter, she started in film.
Due to family circumstances, Amy left NYC with her husband and dogs, making her home in Florida. She is hopeful that she will continue to work in film and theater, and that someday she will land roles in major film and television projects.

Other favorites include, bur are not limited to, Marilyn Monroe, Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp, Marlon Brando, Emily Watson, Robert Duvall, Clint Eastwood, Kiefer Sutherland, James Dean, Kristen Chenoweth, Kirsten Bell, James Roday (okay, I love 'Psych'!). I know there are others...I just can't think of them all right now!"
